On the occasion of Robert Noyce’s 84th Birthday, Google designed a special logo to honor the co-founder of Intel .The doodle on Google’s home page depicts an electronic chip & the search engine’s name on the circuit board.The electronics engineer invented the integrated chip through his firm Fairchild Semiconductor, which paved the way for the microprocessors used in modern computers .

Robert Noyce was born on December 12, 1927, in Burlington, Iowa.He is also Described / Nick named as the MAYOR OF SILICON VALLEY.

Robert Noyce co-founded Intel with Gordon Moore in 1968 and originally planned to call the firm Moore Noyce but thought it sounded like “more noise”.He died in 1990 of heart failure at the age of 62.
